Washing liquid for washing fruit and vegetables Many fruit, like apples, pears and grapes, have a natural waxy layer in which harmful substances may be present. Rinsing fruit with water only will not always be sufficient to remove these substances. Another bad boy might be present on fruit and vegetables: Helicobacter pylori, the only bacterium that can survive in the acid environment of our stomach, and which might cause gastric ulcers. This bacterium is transmitted by houseflies. Geowash has been developed especially for helping with these problems. It contains a surfactant, ethanol, lecithin and pure essential lemon oil. Geowash should not be mistaken for a traditional dish washing liquid! Usage: add some Geowash to lukewarm water, wash fruit and vegetables thoroughly and rinse with water.
