Care component for skin and hair D-panthenol is synthetically manufactured. It moisturizes the skin in creams, lotions, shower gels and shampoos. It is absorbed deeply into the skin and is hygroscopic. It supports regeneration of damaged skin cells and aids cell growth. The skin stays smooth and supple. Panthenol nurtures rough skin, calms irritated skin and aids wound healing. In the skin, panthenol is transformed to pantothenic acid which aids cell growth.
