DESCRIPTION: |
Self-tanning agent DHA is a fine white powder with a characteristic odor. It reacts with the keratins of the skin, thus coloring the skin brown. It is a self-tanning component for use in creams and body lotions. Two hours after application, the skin will show the first sun tan effect. It is strongly recommended to make a peeling before application, for a uniform result. DHA is added to the aqueous phase. The cream should have a pH below 7; if higher, DHA will break down quickly. Avoid using fragrances, urea, amino acids and protein; also, DHA should not be heated to over 40°C. Concentration: 2 to 5% Please store DHA in a cool place, in a well-sealed container.
