Collagen is supplied in a 1% solution ? thus it is liquid/gelatinous and can be incorporated into creams, gels and lotions without problems. Collagen in its native form is present in the skin. Its strong moisture binding capacity helps the skin to stay firm and smooth. Creams with this collagen help the skin to keep a lot of moisture, it will feel smooth and fresh longer. Collagen helps retaining the moisture content of the cream in the skin. Please add native collagen to the cream only after the cream has cooled off to under 40°C.
