Pure vitamin E ? skin care and anti-oxidant Vitamin E protects the skin from the damaging effects of sunbathing. Thus, it is an essential in every sun care product, also in après sun lotions. But is has more positive features: it reduces small wrinkles, makes the skin's surface smooth, improves moisture management, and is thus especially beneficial for dry and rough skin. Vitamin E is also said to aid wound healing, positively influence scar formation and stimulate enzyme activity. Vitamin E is used as a natural anti-oxidant to prevent oil from getting rancid. Especially oils with a high content of unsaturated fatty acid are at risk ? like sunflower and safflower oil. Always add 2% vitamin E to the bottle immediately after opening (2 ml on 100 ml).
