Potent oil from the "miracle tree" neem Neem (Melia azadirachta) belongs to the mahogany family; originally, it came from India. The olive-like fruit contains a dark-brown oil with a characteristic odor, which is solid at room temperature. The oil has been a staple ingredient of Ayurvedic medicine since ancient times. It is a natural insecticide that is harmless for humans and animals (except for insects!). Apart from that, it is used for skin ailments like eczema, fungi and viruses.
