Sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus) contains many unsaturated fatty acids, plus lecithin and vitamins, especially vitamin E. It is well suited for oily skin with impurities. Sunflower oil is an excellent basis for bath oils. It can also be used for cream washes and color cream for children. Recipe for cream wash: Put 20 g Lamecreme, 70 g sunflower oil and 5 g cetyl alcohol in a heat-proof beaker. Heat until clear. This oily phase can be stored in the refrigerator for a year (jam jar!). Heat 20 g of this oily phase in a beaker; in a second beaker, heat 10 ml distilled water and 10 ml betaine. Pour the water/betaine mixture into the oily phase. There is your cream wash!
