The old household remedy - when you want it to look "polished"! Viennese lime is pure, finely ground burnt dolomite (a naturally occurring calcium magnesium carbonate). Viennese lime is mineral, therefore free of surfactants, 100% biodegradable and free of preservatives. A time-tested cleaning and polishing agent for stainless steel, silver and brassware, glass and ceramics, cooker tops, etc. Do not use on painted surfaces. Use for stubborn dirt: Apply powder to a damp cloth, polish surfaces or objects with it, rinse with water, dry and polish again. Viennese lime" can also be used to make a scouring agent: Melt 20 g glycerine with 10 g emulsan in a water bath. Stir 50 g betaine into the melted mass (whisk, milk frother, etc.). Then stir in 100 g bicarbonate of soda and 30 g pumice powder by the spoonful. If desired, add 10 drops of essential oil (lemon, orange, lime, peppermint, etc.).
