Lavender oil is one of the mildest and most versatile essential oils available; it should be in stock in every household. In home-made cosmetics, it is suitable for products for all skin types, in skin care, bath- and shower cosmetics. It alleviates the itching after mosquito bites, and soothes the skin after too much exposure to the sun (even better in combination with aloe vera!). It can be used as a laundry scent, to repel moths in the closet, and last but not least it is a wonderful scent for soaps and natural perfumes! A footbath with lavender oil in the evening helps to relax and let got of the day. Like all lavender oils it helps removing stubborn glue residue. This extra fine lavender essential oil contains 50/52 percent of linalyl acetate/esters.
