The leaves, twigs and unripe fruit of the bitter orange tree are distilled for this fresh essential oil. The relation to neroli oil is obvious, although petitgrain is a lot more green and dry. A tangy scent that can become overpowering, and thus should be used with care. Then, it makes a beautiful centre for all compositions with herbal and woody notes. A classic ingredient in Eau de Cologne and "green" men?s fragrances. Keeps well in soap.
