This is the "oriental mint". One of its subspecies provides us with the extremely fresh Japanese mint oil. The strong and fresh wild mint is slightly dryer than that of the finer peppermint oil. A classic in mouthwashes.
Do not use in hot baths! Do not use on babies or small children under the age of 3!
Even in low concentrations, mint or peppermint oil, like menthol, can lead to irritated skin or chills in sensitive persons.
