Another essential oil from the camphor tree! In Madagascar, this tree generates a completely different essential oil than in its original home in Asia. In Madagascar, Ravensara means "good leaf", and the tea made of the leaves is used for many little and bigger ailments. This oil is mild and gentle to the skin, it smells fresh and tangy and has a distinct touch of eucalyptus. It contains very little camphor. It has many uses: in bath cosmetics and balms, as an air freshener ( f.e. mixed with lemon eucalyptus and grapefruit) and for unctions.
