DESCRIPTION:

Cassia essential oil is produced in China and has a darker, spicier and slightly drier scent than Ceylon cinnamon oil. It unfolds its warming properties in "Red Tiger Balm", and is very popular in all Christmas season blends, natural perfumes and soaps. Like all cinnamon oils, it keeps well in soaps; but the soap mixture will solidify rapidly after adding it.
Cassia oil contains up to 90 percent cinnamon aldehyde that can irritate the skin and is a strong allergen; it should always be used with care.
