Ceylon cinnamon is certainly one of the most popular and versatile spices. It is a must in Christmas cookies, in curries and in tea. The feel-good factor of this rich and warm winter scent enhances warming foot creams and foot baths, massage oils and, naturally, oriental fragrance blends for perfume and soaps! This cinnamon oil is standardized and contains 40/50 percent cinnamon aldehyde. Cinnamon aldehyde is a strong irritant and allergen. Cinnamon oil should always be used sparingly and with care! In ambience scents, it should always be deleted with other essential oil oils, especially citrus oils. Cinnamon essential oil keeps well in soaps; but the soap mixture will solidify rapidly after adding it.
