Lemon oil lightens the mood and is one of the most popular air fresheners. Everyone loves it! It is most suitable for all fresh blends with other citrus oils, conifer oils and herbs. It improves the atmosphere - literally, and figuratively too. Only a small percentage of lemon oil will survive the saponifying process; for citrus notes in soaps other essential oils like litsea or citronella should be used. Using lemon oil in natural perfumes is also problematic, as it oxidizes fairly fast. It should only be used in fragrance mixtures that will be used up quickly. Please store lemon oil in a cool and dark place. Once the bottle has been opened, the oil should be used within six months.
