We know its warm and spicy anise aroma from French cream cheese spreads. Tarragon has a unique scent and can become quite dominant in fragrance blends, so use it sparingly! In low concentration, tarragon oil will round off masculine and fresh fragrances. It combines well with earthy and woody notes, and all citrus scents.
