Bay rum has earned its fame as an ingredient of dry, masculine after shaves, mouthwashes and hair waters. The characteristic scent can be found in many men?s fragrances and makes a good and long lasting base note for your own creations. The spicy scent is reminiscent of cloves, but slightly fresher and greener. This oil combines well with all other spices, with woody notes and the orange oils. This essential oil keeps well in soaps; but the soap mixture will solidify rapidly after adding it. Use sparingly in natural perfumes!
