A dry and sharp, just peppery head note for natural perfumes. The hot constituents of pepper do not end up in the distilled oil, and so pepper oil is a very mild oil, despite its name. It is warming in foot baths and foot balms, and an aphrodisiac in massage oils, especially if combined with floral notes. In combination with caraway or sweet fennel oil, it makes a nice anticonvulsant oil for belly massages. A nice and characteristic accent in many fragrance blends! Use sparingly!
