Alcoholic extract from lime blossoms Limes are stately trees that can grow up to 30 m high; they can live several hundred years. The flowers are light green and exude an appealing, sweetish scent. Parts of lime trees have been used for medical purposes since ancient times. Today, only the flowers are used. They contain diaphoretic substances. The essential oils of lime trees, used in a compress, can help against spots and blackheads. A traditional recipe for a face mask: mix two egg yolks and lime tree flowers. Dry, brittle hair can benefit from lime tree blossoms, especially when blonde. Try a rinse with lime tree extract (1 part extract, 9 parts water). You can also mix a hair tonic with this extract and massage it into the scalp. We provide an extract with 70 percent alcohol, free of diethyl phthalate.
