Extract from mistletoe Mistletoe is an evergreen, hemiparasitical shrub that grows on deciduous trees. It has an almost spherical shape and can grow to a height of 60 to 90 cm. Mistletoe has been an important plant in mythology since ancient times; it was considered sacred. In medicine, it was almost a heal-all, today it is mostly used in alternative cancer therapy. In skin care, mistletoe is used as poultice or bath additive. It helps against varicose veins and spider veins by reducing the pressure in the blood vessels.
