Butcher's broom (Ruscus aculeatus) is an evergreen shrub originating in the warmer parts of Europe. Its extract contains resin, minerals, saponins, tannins as well as ruscogenins, which are specific components of butcher's broom.
Butcher's broom extract has an astringent, anti-inflammatory effect and is therefore beneficial for swollen legs and venous diseases, e.g. varicose veins. Is has also calming properties that make it a valued ingredient in preparations for reddened skin.
His stabilizing, lymph-activating action enhances products against cellulite.
Concentration: 2 to 5 % (to 100 %)
