Tensoderm is a very mild thickening agent for surfactants made from glycerin and fatty acids. Throughout the years, Tensoderm´s formula has been steadily improved. It is now plant-based and thinner. The main application area of Tensoderm is thickening shower gels and shampoos. Previously, it has been recommended to dilute Tensoderm in water and add the surfactants afterwards. It was difficult to thicken a cosmetic product belatedly, because Tensoderm would dissolve poorly. A belated change of viscosity was not possible. With the new Tensoderm, you can adjust the consistency at the very end of the process. It can be incorporated easily, viscosity can be regulated to the optimum.
