Chamomile's most precious component Alpha-bisabolol is a clear, colorless liquid with a proven anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. Manufactured synthetically, this alpha-bisabolol can be used in skin care products, sun protection and after sun products, after shave products, baby care products and also in mouthwashes and toothpastes. It is mainly used as a substitute for chamomile extract or chamomile's ingredient azulene. Alpha-bisabolol has a considerably lower rate of allergic reactions while having the same effect.
