This organic shea butter has been carefully refined and is suited for people who dislike the typical odor of unrefined shea. Refined shea butter has a transparent, almost white color, a "buttery" texture and only a very light odor. Shea butter is mostly used as a nurturing consistency enhancer in cosmetic products. Shea butter contains fatty acids and other components that are said to be exceptionally good for the skin because of their skin-friendly, nurturing and protecting properties. This butter is most beneficial for dry and scaly skin that needs oil and moisture. It is also recommended for skin that has been damaged from external influences. Use undiluted or in combination with nurturing oils. Shea butter is a well-tolerated, very versatile high quality butter that can also be used undiluted.
